Software Sales!
Today is the day where the rubber hits the reoccurring revenue road. Before today, HISS’s revenue stream consisted of margin on the hardware sales of the CT line and accessories and a small amount from sales of the data pipeline. Today we have all of those things along with the ability to bill our own software. This process allows us to collect a portion of the revenue billed and add it to our bottom line, rather than all of it going to the software vendor. We have only been doing this for a few weeks and already have had an incredible response to our offering. We have already had committed over $20,000.00 annually of reoccurring revenue on the system and currently have 10 active demos going with new customers. With the addition to our own software we now have 3 avenues of revenue, hardware, software and (pipeline) Kore. From a software sale, we are now able to add software to the deal and vice versa on the hardware. It seems like a winner for everyone. We are still carrier and software agnostic, in other words we will still sell on any network and use any software. This is a giant step in the right direction for HISS

Thanks guys. It is nice to finally see some solid info in the blog. The $20K annually is a small amount now, but it's a start. A true step in the right direction.

A comment to our blog author. On c.n.b.c. Bill Greft said FED EX is haveing a hard time because of the price of gas.Lets send a sales person out and help them out we can show them how to save MONEY all they have to do is BUY OUR CYBER TRACKER FOR THEIR TRUCKS and dont forget about WAL/MART THEY LOVE TO SAVE MONEY THEY HAVE A LOT OF TRUCKS TO.
I agree with the other posts. This is a great product. There are a ton of uses for it. I am in law enforcement and we have seen a "huge" increase in cargo theft, construction equipment theft, and survey equipment theft. I can see uses in all of these industries for this product. Lets hope the sale gurus can hit them all to push this product line. I could even see this taking off with everyday people too. Kind of an alternative to "LoJack" and "Onstar" for their vehicles.
I saw the article about using it with kids. How about alzheimers patients, hikers could use it, armored car companies, even for surveillance work. There is no end if this is marketed right.
